The Torhop Saunan Heating Salt Mask is inspired by Finnish sauna culture — the tradition of using salt and heat to deeply purify and exfoliate the skin. Torhop, a Korean brand built around Finnish wellness heritage, developed a self-heating salt mask that replicates this experience at home: apply it to dry skin and the salt-sugar combination instantly triggers a warming sensation as it reacts with the skin's natural moisture, mimicking the feeling of stepping into a sauna.
The heating mechanism is a natural exothermic reaction: Sodium Chloride (sea salt) at 13% and Sucrose (sugar) at 12% release heat when they dissolve on contact with moisture on the skin surface.
