Centella Asiatica at 0.5% provides the primary anti-inflammatory and barrier-repair activity, with Madecassoside named separately to indicate the most active centelloside fraction is present in meaningful quantity. This combination is especially effective for post-treatment skin — whether recovering from retinoids, exfoliants, or breakouts. Tea Tree Leaf Extract and Houttuynia Cordata (Korean fish mint, used in traditional Korean medicine for its potent antibacterial properties) together address acne-causing bacteria and inflammation without drying. The hydration and barrier system — Ceramide NP, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, and Panthenol — provides what retinoid and acid users most need: barrier lipid replenishment and sustained moisture.
